My songs began as prayers, ones that would come to me sitting before a piano, on a walk, or driving. Over the years, I've found that melody and notes can touch something that words alone cannot.
This way of singing to God started in college, when the reality that He knows me, actually knows me, became a revelation that changed my life. My hope is that these songs would find you and meet you in the season you're in, and remind you of the reality that He actually knows you, too.
coming soon ✦
each painting began as something I needed to give visual form to, and they all have a prayer written on the canvas, whether visible or concealed.
All of these projects originated in ideas that amused me. I find joy in the ideas themselves, but when brought to life, something more happens. Participating in something that is new to me — or new to the world — energizes me. Some of these were intentionally created for public engagement, and others were made - (once again) - because I liked them. :) Consider this an invitation to play - there are so many things we can imagine and do!
Secret Pea is a conceptual public art project in which tiny word-bearing peas are discreetly placed in everyday environments to inspire curiosity, delight, and imaginative attention.
Coming soon to Dallas! As a 2026 Art House Dallas grant recipient, this project will be formally presented at the Art House Dallas showcase this October.

I've always been drawn to colorful textured things like these poms and pipe cleaners. Several years ago at work, I covered a wooden block with them to keep on my desk as a sort of self-made sensory fidget (it was called leafy child, and I have no recall on why 😂). Friendly fluff guys somehow evolved around then, and unbeknownst to me, it was the beginning of an era of sorts.
At first, I made these to give away to people I met when I traveled. Over time, the fluff guys worked their way out of my travel bag and into my everyday life, and I try to keep a little pouch of them with me wherever I go. When I'm getting low, I know it's time to make more, so as to avoid the sad instance where I wish I had one to give but am out. Sometimes I'll feel God specifically highlight someone to give one to, but most often, I give them away when I feel a spark of connection, recognizing something sweet, silly, or kindred in their spirit.
I wish I had a photo of every person I've given one to, to help me remember the connection, but have held back, because I've felt that asking to photograph them could somehow cheapen the moment. There are some, though, that I have a photo or video from, and I'm sharing just a handful here. I've been inspired by the impact these little guys have, and plan to have an indefinite friendly fluff guy factory chez-moi.

hiya! molly here. welcome to my portfolio of sorts. my interests vary from the emotionally deep to the playful and light. i love meeting new friends, trying new things, and being curious in new places.
i move through the world noticing - shapes and forms in unexpected places, the feel of a springy plant or a textured wall, a phrase that catches sideways, the oddness hiding in the ordinary. travel, salsa dancing, and a good croissant enrich my life. estoy aprendiendo español también!
i consider it part of my mission to help people remember how to play, and i want to see people (myself included) walking in the fullest version of who they were created to be.
thanks for stopping by!
